Wednesday Afternoon, The Woods

current mood: irritated
Savannah was in a mood.
Unfortunately for her and possibly the people around her, she had no idea what sort of mood she was in or what was causing it.
After trying to make herself relax by first reading and then doing some of the meditation techniques Elena and Jeremy had taught her, she let out a growl of frustration and waved her hand -- sending all of her tools in her workspace flying.
Cleaning up a mess after her show of temper did nothing to improve her mood, really.
After cleaning up the mess, she tangled her hands in her hair and threw herself back across her bed to stare up at the ceiling. It was rare that she was in one of these moods and she had no idea what was causing this. She hated not knowing what was bugging her. She hated not feeling like herself or feeling like something was wrong that she couldn't pinpoint.
Muttering under her breath, she flipped over on her stomach and pulled her pillow over her head. She briefly considered going to bother one of the moms or Sean, but she didn't want them to see her this out of control and worry them. She also considered finding Paige and seeing what mischief they could get into. However, again, she didn't want to worry her best friend and pseudo-sister.
She ended up grabbing her messenger bag that contained art supplies as well as magical supplies. Maybe she was just too closed in right now. Maybe being inside four walls was just making whatever was bothering her that much worse.
She pulled a brush through her hair and fastened it up in a ponytail. Slinging the strap of the bag over her head and shoulder, Savannah slammed out of her room and then out of the Servants Quarters. She broke into a jog and kept jogging until she reached the edge of the woods. Once there, she slowed to a walk and started taking deep breaths and then releasing them.
Not too far into the woods, she found a fallen tree next to another tree stump. The trees were covered in moss, but it didn't bother her at all. She dropped her bag on the stump and then sat down cross-legged on the fallen tree.
She hoped being out here helped.
